FDA Takes a Stand on Menu Labeling Guidelines

According to Restaurant Nutrition, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration is giving operations until May 2017 to comply with new universal menu labeling guidelines—or one year from the date the final document was released. The FDA issued the new document to help guide operations on implementing previously released regulations. These guidelines will apply to “alcoholic beverages, catered events, mobile vendors, grab-and-go items, and record keeping requirements.” Learn more about menu labeling guidelines here.
