Some say bigger is better. We say mini is most definitely a big deal—especially when it comes to tasty treats. While brownies, apple pie and chocolate cake still fare well with sweet seekers, 34% of consumers say they’re more likely to order dessert if the portions weren’t so … sizable.1
That means there’s big opportunity in mini desserts. They’re portable, shareable and quite frankly, adorable. Plus, they make it easy for customers to sample a smattering of favorite flavors without feeling like they’re overindulging.
So, go ahead and take your desserts down a size. Make cute little cobblers and crisps. Create petite cakes. Turn pies into tiny tartlets. Basically, you can take any traditional dessert up a notch by bringing it down a size.
